I’m Catherine or Cat, the maker behind Scrunchy Cat, based right here in Christchurch New Zealand. I believe that something as simple as a scrunchie can bring a little joy, personality, and colour to someone’s daily routine. What started as a small passion project turned in to ab online store and a stall at local markets, where I love meeting customers face-to-face and sharing the joy of scrunchies in person.
The name Scrunchy Cat is a fun mix of everything I love: scrunchies (of course!), my two real cats, who keep me company while I sew and my name!
At Scrunchy Cat, each scrunchie is carefully crafted with attention to detail, using fabrics and prints I personally select. Whether you’re after a bold satin print, a soft pastel, or something playful and unique, I aim to offer a variety that suits every mood and style.
